Is it just me that on Glee they fixate out Kurt's sexuality?

Television is not known for subtle characterizations. They only have less than 50 mins of program time to establish characters and hatch a plot and resolve it, so they tend to do everything in a heavy handed, in your face kind of way. It ain't high art, nor is it reality. All recurring TV characters are caricatures -- it's just the nature of the medium.
