I don't like our new dog... at all? opinions/advice?

well first of all i find it a titch immature to "not like a dog" ... you are 20 not 10 ... that puppy has done nothing to you and probably feels your dislike and how is that fair ... grow up ... next, your father was foolish to purchase this new puppy ... the most basic of research says you do not raise puppies together because they will bond with one another and have less use for the humans and their commands ... and this puppy may or may not be buddies with your current puppy ... which does suck for the current dog ... i selfishly got a puppy when i already had a dog and the old dog hated the new one ... ruined the last years of my first dogs life ... you said your older puppy is bullying the new one ... you should not allow that ... and this statement "I'm telling you with 100% seriousness that I know I'll never bond with this dog" means you seriously need to grow up ... this new puppy is a living, breathing animal, it is not its fault your father is clueless about dogs, and you are whining about not being able to bond with a puppy in two days ... not being able to love a puppy says more about the type of human being you are than anything negative about the puppy ... if you can not take the living conditions in your parents home then i suggest you get your adult butt off the sofa and move out ... take your precious 6.5 month old puppy and be done with it ... (who lives at home at the age of 20, 20 is an adult you know) ... reading this i would assume you are an only child with some self-absorbed, narcissistic tendencies to post all this over a puppy your family has had 2 days ...
